Fashion.sa had an existing app with an average rating of 2.7 due to performance issues. Additionally, the app was only able to support one language even though their online store supported both Arabic and English. Furthermore, due to Shopify restrictions in the Middle East they weren't able to offer Apple Pay as a payment option.
Mobile apps are extremely popular in the Middle East and on average generate more revenue than websites. However, due to these limitations the Fashion.sa app was only generating around 30% of their total online revenue.
Fashion.sa reached out to us with the task of improving their existing mobile app and making it the focal point of their e-commerce strategy. They also requested a 4-week turnaround in order to get the app up and running in time for Eid.
